Early life

Rishabh Pant, India’s most famous cricketer, was born on October 4, 1997. His father’s name was Rajendra Pant, and his mother’s name was Saroj Pant. He was born in the well-known Indian city of Roorkee, which is located in the Indian state of Uttarakhand. Sakshi Pant, his elder sister, is his name.

Starting Cricket Career

Rishabh Pant has enjoyed playing cricket since he was a child. He began taking cricket lessons when he was only 12 years old. He used to travel to Delhi from his birthplace with his mother every weekend to practice at Sonnet Cricket Academy, where Tarak Sinha was the coach. He and his mother had no acceptable place to live in Delhi, so they used to stay at one of Moti Bagh’s Gurdwaras.

Pant’s coach urged him to play Under-13 and Under-15 cricket for Rajasthan, however this was not possible due to unforeseen circumstances. Following this, his instructor urged him to work on his batting technique in order to become a great batsman in the future. Due to his improved performance, he was given the opportunity to play for the Delhi under-19 squad against Assam, and he did not disappoint, scoring 35 runs in the first innings and 150 runs in the second.

Domestic Career

Because of his improved batsmanship, he is given the opportunity to play first-class cricket in a relatively short period of time. On October 22, 2015, he made his first-class debut in the 2015-16 Ranji Trophy, and one month later, he made his debut in the 2015-16 Vijay Hazare Trophy. In the Ranji and Vijay Hazare Trophy, he scored a lot of runs. He scored 308 runs against Maharashtra in the 2016-17 Ranji Trophy, making him the third-youngest Indian to do so in first-class cricket. On November 8, 2016, he also scored 100 runs in 48 balls, becoming the first player in Ranji Trophy history to do it. Following that, in 2017, he was named captain of the Delhi squad for the 2016-17 Vijay Hazare Trophy. His captaincy and batting ability wowed everyone.

On January 14, 2018, he scored 100 runs in 32 balls against Himachal Pradesh in the 2017-18 Zonal T20 League, becoming the batsman with the second-fastest century in a Twenty20 match.

Indian Premier League

Due to his better performance in domestic cricket, he became very popular, and as a result, he was bought by the Delhi Daredevils for the first time in the 2016 Indian Premier League, and from here, his IPL journey began; he doesn’t want to miss this opportunity because he knows that if he performs well in the IPL, he will get a chance to play for India in International matches. International Career

Because of his outstanding performance in the IPL, he was given the opportunity to play for the Indian squad right away. He began his international career in a Twenty20 match. Rishabh’s name was included in the team for the match against England in 2017, and as a result, Rishabh played international matches for India for the first time in 2017. On February 1, 2017, he made his international debut for India in the third T20I against England at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore. Rishabh Pant made his T20 debut for India when he was 19 years and 120 days old, making him the youngest player to do so.

After making his debut for India in T20I matches, he hit many runs, which impressed many selectors. After a year of making his T20I debut, he was given the opportunity to make his test debut as well. On August 18, 2018, he was given the opportunity to play in his maiden test international match against England. Furthermore, on September 11, 2018, he achieved his first test century against England, becoming the first Indian wicket-keeper and the second youngest wicket-keeper to do so.
