Kuldeep Yadav, born on December 14, 1994, is India’s premier spin bowler who plays for the national side and is an important component of the setup, particularly in white-ball formats.

Kuldeep bowls unorthodox left-arm spin and is a good lower-order batter from Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh.

He was inspired by Wasim Akram and Zaheer Khan and wanted to be a left-arm seamer before being persuaded to become a wrist spinner by his coach, who was impressed with his turn and variations.
