Virat Kohli Record
The prolific run-scorer from India, Virat Kohli, already holds numerous records, and he is about to add yet another feather to his already impressive crown. During the ICC ODI World Cup 2023, Virat just eclipsed the record held by master blaster Sachin Tendulkar for the most ODI centuries. The 35-year-old broke Tendulkar’s record of 49 hundreds when he scored his 50th ODI century against New Zealand at the Wankhede Stadium in November of last year.
The five-match Test series against England is Virat’s next assignment. The 35-year-old is expected to reach 9000 runs in his Test career.

Tendulkar tops the list with an average of 53.78 and 15921 runs in 200 Tests.
The man who is currently the head coach of the Indian cricket team, the legendary batting great Rahul Dravid, comes in second. With an average of 52.63 throughout 163 Tests, Dravid has 13265 runs.
Third on the list is legendary batsman Sunil Gavaskar, who averaged 51.12 over 125 Tests and scored 10122 runs.
In their previous series, England and India drew 2-2 at home.
Nonetheless, the hosts India, who haven’t lost a Test series since falling to England 1-2 in the 2012–2013 campaign, are still a strong foe.
